We first started dating in Fall of 2011 as a Sophomore & Junior in High School. We had always known each other, but never really talked much. The first night we really talked, Connor offered to drive me home & then we started dating shortly after. The relationship lasted until the end of the school year. We broke up because Connor wanted to “enjoy his senior year” (those of you that know Connor, we can all laugh about that together). So we broke up & decided it was best to just stay friends. There is a running joke that I, Alex, was always very vocal about wanting to get back together. I would say that Connor was just as vocal about it- but only to me, in fact if anyone else asked him he would say that I was crazy & we never even talked (Ha!).
Connor’s senior year comes & we stay friends. Both dating other people but nothing really stuck. Ms. Bieber was lucky enough to have us both in Journalism together & as my favorite teacher, she knew enough & decided to help speed up fate and assign us the Girls Varsity Basketball Yearbook spread as partners. We didn’t get back together until we were both in Lincoln at college, but almost all credit to the great Biebs!
