Seth and I met freshman year of high school in study hall. At the time there was an app called “Fun Run” where a group of us used our time very wisely and raced each other the entire study hall. We remained friends but didn’t really start talking until junior year. After a football game, Seth invited me to join a group of friends at Raising Canes. From there we continued to text and spent every moment we could together! Seth played on the baseball team so a lot our favorite high school memories come from cheering him on at every game.
Looking back on our relationship, I think the most special part is that we pretty much “grew up together” as we have supported each other with all of our goals and have shared all of our big moments together.
I guess you could say that February is a special month for us! We started dating February 6, 2016, got engaged February 20, 2021, and got married February 25, 2022.
Seth is on the Omaha Fire Department and I currently teach 3rd grade at Anchor Pointe Elementary. We have a sweet two year old girl named Oaklee and have another little girl on the way! We are so grateful to be raising our daughters in the very place where our own story started. Bennington is, and always will be, our forever home.
