What do you love most about Bennington Public Schools?

I love that the school system is the focal point of our community. Our school system has strong leadership, professional, compassionate staff and families that want the best for their kids. Our service organizations in Bennington care about our students and work tirelessly to support their needs.

What is your favorite Foundation program/initiative?

As a Bennington graduate, I love the generosity of the the scholarship program for our graduating seniors. I am proud of the fact that support for our kids doesn't end with graduation, but helps them get a good start on a post-secondary pursuit.

Where do you hope to see the Foundation in 5 years?

I believe in five years, the Foundation will have brought the vision of an early childhood location/program to fruition.

Family & Career

I am a BHS graduate as well as our three children. All of our kids reside within the Bennington School district and our grandchildren are the fifth generation in my family to live in Bennington.

I spent my entire career as an educator and administrator helping students within the Omaha metro area as well as across the state of Nebraska. I am currently co-President of the Bennington Woman's Club and the Secretary for the Bennington Community Foundation as well as a proud board member of the Bennington Schools Foundation.
